Genevieve completed her MPH at Johns Hopkins in 2007 and then spent the next five years working at the ground level of public health, at the Baltimore City Health Department, focused on lead poisoning prevention and healthy homes. From there, she worked in dissemination and translation science at the University of Michigan’s Center for Managing Chronic Disease, focused on an effort to bring an evidence-based women’s asthma self-management program to public health practitioners and caregivers across the country. Since 2015, she has been at CWRU, working with Dr. Susan Flocke on the CPCRN project – the work centers on tobacco cessation for low-income, disadvantaged populations.
